Russia commented on the calls for a ceasefire in Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on calls for a ceasefire in Ukraine.

He spoke about this in an interview for the YouTube channel Ultrakhang.

Lavrov saw these calls as an attempt to buy time. He is convinced that this is exactly how Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thinks.

According to the minister, this way of thinking has taken deep root in the Ukrainian leader’s mind — and, Lavrov added, it is absolutely obvious to any objective observer.

Earlier, Sergey Lavrov spoke about Russia’s goals in Ukraine, saying he believes it is necessary to “save people who are part of Russian culture from the Nazi regime.”
