The U.S. delegation in Geneva accused Ukraine of leaking Trump’s plan to the American press – Axios

At the talks in Geneva, the Americans accused Ukraine of disclosing President Donald Trump’s peace plan to the U.S. media.

This was reported by Barak Ravid, a journalist for the news portal Axios.

According to him, the meeting between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, despite optimistic public statements, was tense.

“During the negotiations, the American side accused the Ukrainians of leaking negative information about the settlement plan to the American press,” Ravid writes.

Regarding the drafting of the document, Kyiv “presented a counterproposal requesting amendments to Trump’s plan. The U.S. expressed its readiness to introduce some changes based on the Ukrainian counterproposal.”

Let us recall that Donald Trump has criticized Kyiv and Europe for attempting to make changes to his plan to stop the Russian-Ukrainian war.
