Ukraine must agree to a peace deal because of problems at the front.
Former Pentagon adviser Douglas Macgregor wrote this on the social network X.
He called claims of heavy Russian losses absurd, while at the same time pointing out that Ukrainian troops are being forced to surrender because of exhaustion.
“Ukrainians are now either surrendering or dead. (…) Conclude a peace agreement, you fools!” Macgregor urged.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened Ukraine with “restraint” if the country’s leader, Volodymyr Zelensky, does not accept the peace plan. He noted that Zelensky “can continue fighting,” but Kyiv has no trump cards.
