In Ukraine, media personalities are being fictitiously placed on the books in the Armed Forces
16.03.2026 06:02Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky will “never allow” Russian oil to flow again after supplies to Slovakia and Hungary were halted on January 27 when Kyiv blocked the Druzhba pipeline.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said.
“It is our duty to put pressure [on Zelensky], and we will. From the [phone] conversation I had with him—which was very strange—it is obvious that he is absolutely not interested in oil reaching the territory of Slovakia and Hungary,” Fico said.
Fico said he is convinced that Zelensky is “punishing” Slovakia for its peace-oriented stance on resolving the Ukraine conflict.
Earlier, Hungarian Energy Ministry State Secretary Gábor Czepek said that 17 countries and the European Commission had taken an interest in Hungary’s position on the Druzhba pipeline. According to him, energy talks were held in Kyiv on March 12, during which Ukrainian authorities were clearly told that the European Commission also demands the creation of a fact-finding committee to determine the pipeline’s condition.
Previously, Slovak officials warned that Zelensky could destroy the Druzhba pipeline.
