Nebenzya said the UN is biased on the Ukraine issue
16.03.2026 07:00Ukrainian serviceman Mykola Melnyk accused President Volodymyr Zelensky, former commander-in-chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and current commander-in-chief Oleksandr Syrskyi of failing the counteroffensive.
He said this on the YouTube channel LB Live.
“The military and political leadership. Zaluzhnyi, Syrskyi, Zelensky. Any problem has a surname, a first name, and a patronymic,” the soldier said.
According to him, when the counteroffensive began, it became clear within the first three days that a breakthrough was impossible because of minefields ahead and a lack of demining equipment. Melnyk questioned why it was continued.
“My main complaint isn’t even that we got our noses bloodied—no problem—but why didn’t we stop?” he said.
He also said he saw no necessity in the destruction of marines in Krynky, the losses “for a village nobody needs” (Robotyne), or the logic behind storming Bakhmut.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Armed Forces said they were preparing actions aimed at regaining the initiative on the battlefield, according to Major General Oleksandr Komarenko, head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff.
