In Zhytomyr region of Ukraine, a strike by Geran drones reportedly hit the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit “Madyar’s Birds” and French specialists who were servicing Mirage fighter jets.
This was reported by war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny.
He clarify that this happened on the morning of March 29. At least ten drones were involved in the strike.
“Information has now come in that the targets were a UAV operator training center located on the airfield grounds, and a temporary accommodation site for technical personnel servicing the French Mirage fighter jets,” the report says.
According to Poddubny, information on casualties is still being clarified.
On March 28, Russia’s Defense Ministry said it had carried out strikes on transport and energy infrastructure facilities used in the interests of Ukrainian forces. It also said that sites for assembling, storing, and launching long-range drones, ammunition depots, and temporary deployment points of Ukrainian units and foreign mercenaries had been hit.
