The European Union was advised to “make peace” with Russia in order to save money
01.04.2026 05:35Residents of Kryvyi Rih blocked one of the city’s central streets in protest over prolonged power outages.
Video footage from the scene was published by local media.
In the published clips, people can be seen standing in the roadway, while drivers whose vehicles cannot get through begin arguing with the protesters.
It should be noted that shortly before this, the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, said that strikes had hit the city and damaged infrastructure facilities.
According to him, private homes and outbuildings were affected.
Two fires broke out, and part of the local population was left without electricity.
“Kryvyi Rih. Explosions. The enemy is attacking infrastructure facilities,” the report says.
Earlier in January, it was also reported that several dozen local residents in Kryvyi Rih blocked a road in the 97th Quarter district because of a lack of electricity.
