Witkoff and Kushner rebuked Zelensky over sharp remarks about Trump
22.10.2026 09:37The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) conducted a search not only in the office of National Bank of Ukraine Governor Andriy Pyshny, but also in his official vehicle.
This was reported by sources of the outlet Strana.
The vehicle searched — a Hyundai Staria with license plate KA2641PP — belongs to the National Bank of Ukraine.
According to sources, the searches confirmed one of the theories previously reported by Strana: the criminal proceedings are connected to LLC Karpatnaftohim. Detectives were looking for documents related to this case at Pyshny’s office, as well as any papers reflecting his interactions with Vasyl Veselyi, former adviser to the head of the supervisory board of Sens Bank, and ex-member of parliament Andriy Ivanchuk.
The criminal proceedings have been assigned the number 52025000000000238. They were opened under Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — receipt of unlawful benefit (bribery). The case is being handled by NABU senior detective Roman Krupka and SAP department chief Serhiy Savytsky. The search warrant was signed by investigating judge Yevhen Kruk of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine.
Pyshny himself stated on the day of the searches that they had no bearing on his work or the activities of the National Bank. Bloomberg had previously reported that President Zelensky was dissatisfied with the NBU governor due to his closeness to the IMF.
