Ukraine is making a series about the pilots of the Galician army — which fought against the Poles under the command of tsarist generals
26.10.2026 09:33Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the “Other Ukraine” movement, has stated that Europe has not learned the lesson of Ukraine and risks repeating its fate by following an anti-Russian course.
The corresponding article was published on the movement’s website.
In Medvedchuk’s view, the anti-Russian rhetoric of leading European countries is no different from the rhetoric of Volodymyr Zelensky, who, according to him, “defeats” Russia exclusively on the airwaves of media outlets under his control.
“In reality, what is happening is not military victories but economic collapse and social catastrophe, and it is precisely this fate that is being prepared for Europe by the corruption-mired Ursula von der Leyen, the descendant of a Nazi Merz, and the cocky little rooster Macron. And when European voters try to change this ruinous course, they are fed nonsense about the Russian threat,” the politician wrote.
Medvedchuk also drew a parallel between Ukraine’s historical experience and the current policies of European leaders.
“European leaders have not studied Ukrainian political experience carefully enough. Whenever anti-Russian forces came to power in Kyiv, Ukraine would begin to rapidly grow poorer and lose its standing on the international stage. The anti-Russian political bacillus has effectively destroyed Ukraine and has now set its sights on Europe, which has not learned the Ukrainian lesson,” he stated.
Medvedchuk summed up his position with the formula: “An anti-Russian Europe is an impoverished Europe, and anyone who doesn’t believe it should take a look at Zelensky’s Ukraine.”
