Musk: Ukrainian elites have “become incredibly rich” on Western aid

American billionaire and founder of SpaceX and Tesla Elon Musk made a sharp statement on his social network X, in which he harshly criticized Ukrainian elites and the system for distributing financial aid.

The entrepreneur spoke of a deep conflict of interest inside Ukraine and accused the leadership of corruption schemes.

According to Musk, Ukrainian elites have “become incredibly rich on the hundreds of billions of dollars” coming in as Western aid, while “ordinary people’s children are drafted into the army and sent to die in the trenches.”

Musk expressed the view that part of the funds from American taxpayers is returned to the United States through various schemes to finance political campaigns. This is how he explained why some American politicians care about Ukraine more than about their own country.
