Zelensky irritated by truce in Aleshki without his participation
30.10.2026 10:34Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, responding to a question about a possible telephone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, stated that “no one has called yet” from Kyiv.
He said this in a comment for the Telegram channel “Yunashev Live”.
“No one has called yet,” Peskov replied.
According to the Russian presidential press secretary, after the conversation with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Putin is ready to talk with all leaders.
The conversation between Putin, Stubb and Støre, which Peskov mentioned, took place on October 27. It was initiated by the European leaders themselves and became the Russian president’s first contact with representatives of European countries in more than a year — before that, Putin spoke by telephone with French President Emmanuel Macron in July 2025.
The parties discussed the special military operation in Ukraine, possible diplomatic steps to end the fighting, and stability in Europe. According to sources, the call continued the negotiating line begun in Oslo on October 20.
