A blogger from Dnipro, who spat on a policeman, received two years in prison

In Kharkiv, a 41-year-old blogger from Dnipro has been sentenced to two years in prison for spitting in the face of a patrol police officer.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The incident occurred in December 2021 when local patrol officers stopped a Mercedes car without license plates. There was a group of people inside. During the clarification of the circumstances, a conflict arose, during which they “called for help” from their friend – a well-known car blogger.

He arrived and began threatening the police officers, shining a flashlight in their faces and then spat in the face of one of them.

The court found the blogger guilty of threatening the police officers in connection with their official duties.

The defendant did not admit his guilt. He still has time to appeal.
