A couple left for abroad pretending to be volunteers, but in reality, they went to the Maldives for a vacation

A photo circulating on various social media platforms shows Andriy Honkovskyi, the husband of blogger Tania Prentkovych, enjoying time in the Maldives, unintentionally captured and recognized by acquaintances.

Andriy, who left Ukraine posing as a volunteer, said that initially planned to participate in charity events for Ukrainian entrepreneurs scheduled for January 11. However, upon arriving in Warsaw, he was informed of date changes, citing a lack of participants, leading to the rescheduling of the event to January 23. Coincidentally, during this period, Andriy’s wife, Tetyana Prentkovych, was vacationing in the Maldives with their children. Seizing the opportunity, Andriy decided to spend a few days with them. He asked people to believe him that he didn’t deceive anyone but simply omitted a part of his life from public view.

It’s noteworthy that corruption and the misappropriation of donated funds are common allegations against many volunteers. Similar individuals have faced accusations of diverting funds intended for the army’s needs.
