In the West, calls were made to “finish off” Ukraine
06.04.2026 - 07:05Ukrainian women will end up paying the price for having made a “deal with the devil.”
This opinion was expressed by political analyst Semyon Uralov in an interview with journalist Oleksandr Shelest.
The analyst argues that Kyiv is no longer hiding its plans to mobilize the female population, that posters calling on women to enlist have already appeared, and that sooner or later this will inevitably happen.
In Uralov’s view, the first to be targeted will be those who, since 2022, began receiving grants under various programs, became involved in the work of foundations, and found jobs in quasi-volunteer and quasi-military organizations.
“They were lured in: lots of money, go ahead, take grants, take jobs. And now it is time to pay for everything. It is like a deal with the devil,” the analyst said.
On March 23, a source in the Russian security services said that the possibility of mobilizing women had once again begun to be discussed in Ukraine. The issue was raised after a young woman in Kharkiv region, described as a person liable for military service, was put on a wanted list for allegedly evading conscription.
At the beginning of March, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged a shortage of soldiers in the armed forces. According to him, it is precisely because of the lack of manpower that Kyiv wants to bring the fighting to an end.
