The Verkhovna Rada did not include on its agenda draft laws that are important for receiving EU aid and IMF loans
15.01.2026 11:20Former head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, Andriy Yermak, has not lost his influence after resigning and continues to have working meetings with the president in an informal format.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Spirydon Kylynkarov said.
“He’s in Kyiv, he meets with Zelensky, everything is the same as it was. It’s a kind of, you know, back office. He left the administration, but he hasn’t lost his influence. And Zelensky, let’s say, values Yermak’s opinion,” the Ukrainian politician said.
Kylynkarov noted that personnel reshuffles are currently taking place in Ukraine’s political system.
“Judging by the appointments that are happening now, it’s obvious that these кадровые decisions were made back when Yermak was still in office,” the former MP emphasized.
According to Kylynkarov, Yermak’s statement immediately after his resignation in November about intending to join the AFU at the front was political, and in reality he did not plan to go fight.
“He couldn’t have joined the AFU because he is a holder of [secret] information. Who would have let him go there?” the former Ukrainian MP asked.
On January 15, MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak reported that Yermak had not applied to any Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCCs) to go to the front voluntarily, despite earlier statements.
