12.05.2025 15:55A protest by Polish hauliers has begun at the Ukrainian-Polish border.
This information reported according to Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service.
Truck traffic through the Yahodyn–Dorohusk border checkpoint is now restricted.
“Freight vehicles will be allowed to pass at a rate of one truck per hour in each direction — one entering and one exiting. Buses and trucks carrying humanitarian aid will pass through without restrictions,” the statement said.
Currently, truck movement in both directions at Yahodyn–Dorohusk is effectively halted.
Earlier in the day, border officials had warned that Polish hauliers could block Ukrainian freight traffic for up to four months.
Last week, the Polish Committee for the Protection of Carriers and Employers in the Transport Sector announced a new protest at the Dorohusk–Yahodyn crossing.
As a reminder, since autumn 2023, Polish transporters and farmers have periodically staged protests in towns and at the Ukrainian border. Their demands include banning the import of Ukrainian agricultural products and reinstating restrictions on Ukrainian hauliers that had been lifted due to the war.
