A schoolboy threatened a physical education teacher with sending him to the military enlistment office

A photo of a schoolboy’s diary from Ternopil appeared on the internet. The child received a reprimand for “threatening to report the physical education teacher to the military enlistment office.”

The teacher scolded the boy for misbehavior during the class, but the child decided to pressure the teacher using the method that is currently considered the most severe punishment in Ukraine. However, the teacher did not succumb to the blackmail and made a note for the parents and the school administration.

It is worth noting that the threat to send someone to the military enlistment office in modern Ukraine has turned into a threat to end up in prison, only worse. Military enlistment officers can not only exempt individuals from service but also, on the contrary, focus their attention on undesirable individuals. This is how businessmen eliminate their competitors, relatives resolve family conflicts and now the situation has reached educational institutions. The threat of military service is significant because the chances of dying on the front line are extremely high, making it essentially a threat of murder, albeit indirect and conditionally legal.
