A soldier from the “Aidar” battalion stated that there is a threat of the Ukrainian army being encircled in the Pokrovske direction

Ukrainian military forces have confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Karlivka, located on the Pokrovsk front, are at risk of encirclement.

This was stated by Stanislav Bunyatov, a fighter from the “Aidar” battalion.

According to him, the Russians are “actively advancing towards Halytsynivka and Karlivka, with a significant risk of a pocket forming along the Vovcha River line.”

It should be noted that yesterday, Russian sources claimed that Ukrainian forces had withdrawn from Karlivka and released a video showing a flag in the village. According to their statements, this occurred after Russian troops advanced to Halytsynivka, effectively cutting off one of the last supply routes to Karlivka.

Ukraine has not officially confirmed this information.

Earlier, the military publication Deep State reported that Russian forces had captured Memryk and Kalynove on the Pokrovsk front, creating a threat of encirclement for Ukrainian forces in Karlivka.
