State Bureau of Investigations has reported another suspicion against the military commissar of the Rivne Region who assaulted a subordinate in July
October 26, 2023A Ukrainian woman who moved to Poland at the age of 11 and decided to return to Ukraine this year to start an independent adult life is sharing her impressions of coming back to her homeland on her social media.
In Warsaw, she worked in a bank, and now at the age of 22, she is living in Lviv.
She notes that the first thing that caught her attention while searching for a job in Ukraine was the prevalence of offices that engage in what she describes as fraudulent call centers. She highlights that websites do not verify the identity of those who post job advertisements, and sometimes data is sold. She expressed shock at the number of scam companies that don’t provide official employment and treat candidates and employees disrespectfully.
She doesn’t understand why official job-related correspondence with employers is often conducted through messaging apps. This makes it difficult to verify whether the person is genuinely representing the company, let alone the ability to delete the conversation.
She is surprised by the prevalence of the Russian language in Lviv, whether it’s on the streets, during interviews, at conferences, or in cafes.
Additionally, she is puzzled by public figures who encourage people to make donations but do not address issues related to embezzlement of funds and military or humanitarian aid.
She believes that people criticize the government for corruption but are often complicit in it at various levels.
