08.10.2023 - 10:50A video has gained popularity on TikTok where a blogger asked a young passerby if it was okay to listen to Russian music right now.
The young man responded that he listens to music not because of its nationality but because it brings some value to his life.
“For example, I can listen to some songs by ‘Sektor Gaza.’ It’s very popular nowadays to say that if you listen to Russian music, you’re funding rockets. But if you listen to our news, in Russia, there’s a default, and they’re not manufacturing new weapons; they’re using their reserves. So, what’s the point of all this?” the young man said.
He also mentioned that people should have thought about this when they “paid for gas with rockets.”
“Back when they opened up the Russian market in Ukraine, when after 2014, Russian businesses were operating in Ukraine, and even now, sometimes I notice Russian products in Ukraine. I saw some ‘Dobry’ juice, and it had its name written in Russian. Or take, for instance, the ‘Kyivstar’ company, which is owned by a Russian oligarch. Somehow, that doesn’t seem to bother anyone,” he said. The young man also added that there are topics “created to make people turn against each other.”
“Everyone goes around asking, ‘Why not patriotic?'” “What kind of music do you listen to?” Ask a better question: ‘Where does the money go? Why do soldiers have small salaries? Why doesn’t the state help them?’ That’s much more important now,” he believes.
The video has already garnered 4.9 million views, and many people in the comments supported his viewpoint.

“Here, I completely agree with him.”
“Well done, absolutely right.”
“He spoke up for everyone.”
