Abolition of live queue: Ukrainians abroad will be able to apply for a passport only by electronic appointment

Now, obtaining a passport abroad can only be done by prior electronic appointment.

This was announced by the state enterprise “Document.”

The changes apply to all units in Poland, Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, and Turkey. Appointments for the electronic queue can be made on the official website of the state enterprise “Document.”

Recall that earlier, the media reported on a fight among Ukrainians in line at a passport service in Warsaw, where they stopped accepting walk-in appointments. Witnesses reported that now the live queue, which had 300 people, was canceled at the passport service – only the electronic queue remained.

Videos of queues for Ukrainian citizens’ passports in EU countries were also published in Telegram channels. These citizens want to obtain passports before the mobilization law comes into effect. In Warsaw, the line of visitors stretched from one end of the room to the other. The overwhelming majority of those gathered were men aged 25-50.
