05.01.2026 05:03An arsenal of weapons was found in a Kyiv apartment belonging to businessman Timur Mindich.
Ukrainian media reported this, citing their sources.
According to those sources, during a check by law enforcement officers, a whole cache of firearms was discovered in one of Mindich’s Kyiv apartments on Husovskyi Street. Mindich is a figure in a corruption scandal.
Among other things, the apartment reportedly contained a Czech-made award pistol — a CZ P-10, described as an analogue of the Austrian Glock. It is unknown who presented it to him and for what reason.
Mindich’s arsenal also reportedly included rifled carbines: a “Vulkan-TK” in 5.45 mm, a Steyr Mannlicher AUG/SA, an “AKMS,” and a “Remington 870” shotgun.
Under the law, carbines can be registered as hunting weapons; the main requirement is that they must not be automatic firearms.
The weapons were officially registered to Mindich.
As previously reported, Mindich, who is wanted in Ukraine, was found in Israel. Journalists spotted him on a beach there. In an interview, he said he had been made a scapegoat in a corruption case involving the energy and defense sectors.
Mindich’s associate, Oleksandr Tsukerman, was also found in Israel. He reportedly tried to hide but later said he planned to return to Ukraine.
