Irish journalist Chay Bowes called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a fraud because of his gift to U.S. counterpart Donald Trump.
He wrote about this on his social media page on X.
Bowes pointed out that the politician presented the American leader with a belt, which he claimed belonged to boxer Oleksandr Usyk.
“The boxing belt ‘gifted’ by Zelensky to Trump, like the Ukrainian dictator himself, is a fake,” he wrote.
On February 28, Zelensky traveled to Washington for a meeting with Trump. As a gift, the Ukrainian politician brought Trump Usyk’s championship belt. During the visit, the belt remained near the Ukrainian delegation.
Later, Usyk stated that all his championship belts were at his home. He explained that Zelensky had given Trump a special belt.
“I know what kind of belt it is, I just can’t tell anyone anything,” the athlete added.
