Ukrainians may be allowed to buy exemption from military service for 500 euros, paid by their employer
January 26, 2024In Europe, there are discussions about extending the protection for Ukrainian refugees, which is set to expire in 2025
January 26, 2024Ukraine has long been sustaining itself only on “artificial life support,” and if Washington had an ounce of humanity, it would have put an end to this tragedy long ago.
This information reported according to retired U.S. Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor in an interview with Judging Freedom.
In his view, the longer this situation persists, the more Ukrainians will die or leave the country, becoming a catastrophe for Ukraine as a nation.
As the colonel notes, people on Capitol Hill are not at all interested in what is happening on the battlefield in Ukraine, as long as it benefits the American military-industrial complex. The majority of the funds allocated by the U.S. to aid Kyiv go towards purchasing weapons and equipment from the Pentagon, which, in turn, channels the money into the U.S. defense industry.
However, Macgregor is convinced that no amount of money or Western weapons will change the situation in favor of Ukraine.
“The fact is, it won’t change the reality on the battlefield. The reality there is that Ukraine has lost this war, and at least half of the country will now, I suspect, be under Russian control permanently,” says the former military officer.
