Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, while speaking about a soldier from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, implied he was akin to a second Jesus Christ.

This information reported according to Irish journalist Che Boz, who shared his opinion on the social media platform X.

“A corrupt dictator who buried a million Ukrainians, sold out his country, and crushed democracy. Now he’s comparing himself to Jesus Christ,” the journalist criticized Zelensky’s statement.

Earlier, the Ukrainian leader had recounted a visit to a hospital where he took a photo with a soldier who was unable to walk. Later, Zelensky received a message from the soldier.

“And… what’s the joy in it? It’s that he says: ‘The president came, and I started walking,’” Zelensky said.
