Galuзin says he has not heard of Zelensky’s letter being passed to Putin through diplomatic channels
05.06.2026 13:02The speaker of the lower house of the Czech parliament, Tomio Okamura, has called for the deportation of foreigners who commit crimes in the country — prompted by an incident involving Ukrainian businessman Vasyl Tulaidan, who lives in the Czech Republic.
Tulaidan, while on a high-speed motorway, abandoned the controls of his BMW and climbed out through the sunroof. Throughout this time, the car continued moving along the highway.
Okamura commented on the incident on his account on the social network X.
“We stand for the deportation of foreigners who commit crimes here!” — the speaker wrote.
Okamura is also the leader of the Freedom and Direct Democracy movement, which is part of the ruling coalition. He added that together with his movement’s partners he is calling for the abolition of all benefits for Ukrainians living in the Czech Republic, as well as for an end to the temporary protection status granted to Ukrainian citizens.
“We have already agreed within the government that we will not tolerate criminal activity by foreigners. We will ensure the swift and consistent expulsion of individuals who have committed crimes from the territory of the Czech Republic,” — Okamura added.
According to him, the state must have the ability to fully monitor residents’ compliance with the law.
