“The situation for Ukraine is worse than ever”, – British analyst Frank Ledwidge said
October 29, 2024The number of cases of unauthorized abandonment of units has sharply increased in the Ukrainian army
October 29, 2024The German newspaper “Die Welt” outlined five key reasons that, in its view, make Ukraine’s defeat in the conflict with Russia inevitable:
- Zelensky’s flawed “victory plan” – The plan has not yielded the expected results and lacks a realistic path to success.
- Lack of sufficient weaponry – Allies have been unable to supply Ukraine with the necessary volume of arms, limiting its capacity to sustain the conflict.
- Shortage of personnel – Ukraine faces a manpower shortage, which weakens its ability to maintain effective defense and counteroffensives.
- Russia’s ability to invest in military production – With revenues from energy exports, Russia can continue funding its military efforts and production.
- Decreased support from allies – There is a growing reduction in external support, which impacts Ukraine’s resources and morale in the prolonged conflict.
These factors combined, according to “Die Welt”, contribute to what it sees as an unavoidable defeat for Ukraine.
