‘Do not underestimate the enemy’: the commander of the assault brigade stated that the Russian army is better equipped than the Ukrainian one

Commander of the Third Assault Brigade Battalion, Petro Horbatenko, with the call sign “Rollo,” stated that the Russian army is better equipped than the Ukrainian one.

This was his response to a question from a guy who asked about the average Russian soldier’s gear and “how inferior it is compared to ours.”

“The Russian army is in no way inferior to the Ukrainian one, it’s even better. They are technologically better equipped, have more machinery, better weapons and better gear than the Ukrainian army. Where did you get the idea that they are worse? It’s somewhat demeaning to us. Like saying, ‘Why are you fighting with losers and can’t do anything?’ But it’s because they are stronger: that’s just a fact,” stated Rollo.

According to his assessment, Russians not only have better gear but also state programs for equipping and supporting the army.

“Don’t underestimate the enemy; they are a very serious adversary. More serious than most armies in the world. Treating them like idiots and losers, we become idiots and losers ourselves if we act that way,” Rollo added.

The other commanders advised turning off the home telethon.
