‘Kvartal 95’ mocked imprisoned MP Dubinsky and joked about the conflict between Zelensky and Zaluzhny

Studio “Kvartal 95” decided to make jokes in their New Year’s special about the imprisoned Ukrainian Member of Parliament, Oleksandr Dubinsky, and also addressed rumors about a conflict between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny.

At the beginning of the New Year’s concert, actor Yevhen Koshovyi advised the audience and Dubinsky to “sit down because it’s going to be a long ride.”

“Our concert, as usual, will last quite a while, so I want to say to the audience, TV viewers, and Dubinsky: ‘Sit down, it’s going to be a long one’,” Koshovyi said.

“Kvartal 95” also presented a skit about the New Year conflict between Zaluzhny and Zelensky. During the sketch, actors portraying Zaluzhny and Zelensky mentioned that even “a fool understands that the conflict between them is fake.”

“A fool might understand, but it’s the channels that are spreading this,” Zelensky said, hinting at Petro Poroshenko.

“Zaluzhny” suggested that “Zelensky” should come out and embrace him in front of the people to nullify all rumors about their conflict. However, “Zelensky” stated that it wouldn’t work.

“Because then I’ll have a conflict with Yermak (head of the Office of the President of Ukraine) for hugging others. Do you understand?” he said.
