Donald Trump announced the first meeting of representatives from Ukraine, Russia, and the U.S. in Munich

A meeting between representatives of Russia, Ukraine, and the United States will take place in Munich tomorrow.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced during a press conference at the White House.

“We have a meeting (with Russia) in Munich tomorrow. Russia will be there, with our people. Ukraine is also invited. I don’t know exactly who will represent each country, but high-ranking officials from Russia, Ukraine, and the U.S. will be there,” Trump said.

Previously, there had been no reports regarding Russian participation in the Munich conference.

Meanwhile, the media have revealed details of a phone conversation between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to reports, the U.S. president emphasized to Zelensky the importance of meeting with Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Munich to initiate the diplomatic process.

Additionally, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have instructed their aides to immediately begin preparations for a high-level meeting.
