Donald Trump Jr. accused Ukraine of corruption and a lack of desire to achieve peace

The politician and son of former President Trump stated that the current Ukrainian authorities are uninterested in ending the war. According to him, if the war ends, the ruling elite won’t be able to steal anymore.

“As long as we continue to send unlimited funds, nothing will change. They have no incentive to ever make a peace deal because they can steal. We’re creating a class of oligarchs within Ukraine because they’re stealing our dollars, while we do nothing about our own border crisis.”

It’s worth noting that scandals related to corruption in Ukraine are increasingly prevalent. This has become an issue for conducting the war and has also become a barrier to receiving assistance from Western partners.
