Dubinsky has been suspected of involvement in a scheme related to tax evasion by individuals leaving the country. He called it a retaliation by the authorities

The State Bureau of Investigations and the Security Service of Ukraine have compiled evidence against Member of Parliament Alexander Dubinsky, who is suspected of organizing the illegal crossing of the border for another individual. He has been accused of involvement in a scheme to assist individuals in evading legal consequences.

This information was announced by the press service of Ukraine’s State Bureau of Investigations without naming the deputy involved.

According to the State Bureau of Investigations, the Prosecutor General has issued a suspicion notice to the current Member of Parliament of Ukraine. Suspicion has also been announced to a former assistant of this parliamentarian, who currently serves as the director of the public organization “Mediaoborona.”

As per the investigation’s findings, the deputy allegedly facilitated the illegal transportation of his wife’s brother to a neighboring European country. To execute the scheme, the parliamentarian purportedly utilized the publicly-controlled organization to introduce “necessary individuals” into the “Shlyakh” system, posing as volunteers.

It has been established that the deputy stored some of the documents required for the escape of the “client” beyond Ukraine within his former assistant’s possession, who is also a deputy of the Kiev Regional Council of the 8th convocation, as well as with the director of the publicly-controlled organization.

During searches, law enforcement agencies seized the following items from the individuals involved in the case:

• Flash drives and mobile phones containing evidence of illegal activities.
• Seals, letters, contracts, and other documents that were used to input false information into the “Shlyakh” system.

Alexander Dubinsky himself has confirmed that he has been served with suspicion, calling it an act of revenge by the authorities for his criticism.

“Just now, the pocket Bureau of Investigations on Bankova Street served me with suspicion for criticizing Ermak and Zelenskyy,” Dubinsky stated.
