The leadership of the Ministry of Defense is discussing how to use $200 million saved on previous contracts of ground forces regarding weapon supplies to Ukraine and whether additional aid can be directed there with these funds. The Bloomberg agency was the first to report on such an option. But this amount will not replace the $66 billion requested by Biden. “In many ways, we are close to bankruptcy,” said a Pentagon representative.
