The head of the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk, stated that if a decision were made to hold presidential elections in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky would lose by a significant margin.
He wrote this on his social media platform X.
“Ukraine needs to hold elections. Zelensky would lose by a wide margin,” the post states.
The American entrepreneur made this comment in response to a post from another user, which claimed that regime change in Ukraine was the only path to peace.
Earlier, Elon Musk suggested that Volodymyr Zelensky flee Ukraine to a neutral country. The businessman also agreed with the notion that Zelensky benefits from the continuation of hostilities as it allows him to remain in power.
