04.01.2024 - 16:39During the missile attack on Kiev on December 29, military facilities – the state design bureau “Luch” and the “Artem” plant – were hit, resulting in the loss of their employees. Subsequently, during the attack on January 2 in Kiev, the “Quasar” electrical engineering plant, a military equipment repair plant, and the “Mayak” plant were targeted.
This information stated by former MP Igor Mosiychuk in a social media post, citing sources.
Mosiychuk mentioned that following the December strike, security forces are actively searching for spotters related to the “Luch” design bureau and the “Artem” plant.
He criticized the need for locating spotters when the information is publicly available, even on Wikipedia.
Ukrainian journalist Tatyana Nikolaenko highlighted that not all facilities were spared during the December 29 attack, mentioning a constant threat to military facilities.
According to her, attacks on military facilities are frequent, and she pointed out the destruction of the capabilities of a private drone manufacturer earlier in the year, which were intended to fly up to 40 km.
Nikolaenko also emphasized that information about the whereabouts of many Ukrainian weapons manufacturers is easily accessible in the public domain.
