Employees of territorial recruitment centers cannot deliver summonses in sports halls and restaurants if their owners are against it

Personnel from territorial recruitment centers cannot issue draft notices in sports halls and restaurants if their owners object.

This information stated Vladimir Fitio, Chief of Public Relations for the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“In this case, these establishments (sports halls) provide public services, just like dining establishments. If their owners do not object, representatives from the territorial recruitment center can conduct events there to inform citizens who may fall under mobilization,” he said.

Fitio also noted that raids on public establishments and issuing draft notices at checkpoints will cease when the electronic registry of conscripts called ‘Obereg’ is synchronized with other state databases.

“As soon as this system starts working, all issues related to visiting sports clubs, restaurants, and conducting notifications at checkpoints will automatically be resolved,” said the spokesperson for the Ground Forces.

Regarding draft notices not personally handed over but, for instance, placed in a mailbox, he mentioned that they can simply be ignored.
