Facing up to 3 years in prison: 13 people in Switzerland suspected of mercenary activity on the side of Ukraine

In Switzerland, 13 people have been suspected of mercenary activities on the side of Ukraine.

This was reported by the official representative of the Swiss military justice, Martin Immenhauser.

According to him, the Swiss military justice has initiated 13 investigations against citizens of the country suspected of mercenary activities in Ukraine and violating the ban on service in foreign countries. This offense is punishable in Switzerland by imprisonment for up to three years.

One of the Swiss individuals under investigation voluntarily went to the police to declare that he participated in the conflict on the side of Ukraine and openly condemned Switzerland’s neutrality.
