Fico will deliver Zelensky’s message to Putin on May 9, the Slovak Foreign Ministry said

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will deliver a message from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the Kremlin during his visit to Moscow on May 9.

This was stated by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rastislav Chovanec, according to the local outlet Marker.

“He may also receive valuable information from the Russian president about how he sees efforts to end the war,” Chovanec said at a meeting of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs.

As a reminder, Zelensky and Fico met on May 4 in Yerevan.

It also became known that Fico plans to travel to Moscow on May 9, but will not attend Russia’s military parade.
