Former assistant to Zaluzhny, Alla Martyniuk, was previously known as a lead singer of the Russian band ‘Slivki’

The dismissed external assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alla Martynyuk, was previously known as a soloist in the Russian pop group “Slivki.”

This information has been reported by the media.

Born in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, Alla Martynyuk left her studies at the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema, and Television in 2002 to pursue a career in Moscow, becoming one of the soloists in the pop group “Slivki.”

“According to her, other members of the group didn’t like her due to her ‘better looks’ and ‘Ukrainian accent,'” as reported by the media.

After her time with “Slivki,” Martynyuk began acting in films, landing a role in the Russian action-comedy “Insatiable” and subsequently in 14 other movies and TV series.

While in Moscow, Alla Martynyuk got married and had a daughter named Polina. After her divorce, Martynyuk returned to Kyiv, supported the Ukrainian Maidan in 2014, and became a volunteer starting in 2022.

On December 29, as a freelance advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, Alla Martynyuk made a controversial statement on the ISLND TV YouTube channel, which was critically received by the public in Ukraine. She motivated people to join the army by saying, “In any case, we will all die.”

“I can see now, when someone receives a conscription notice, they immediately panic, almost saying goodbye to the lives of their sons. That’s wrong. This hysteria isn’t necessary. You need to believe that your son is indeed a hero. Anyway, we will all die. We’re not eternal. But even if that happens, leaving life with dignity is much better than being hit by a brick or run over by a car on the street. There are different situations,” Martynyuk stated.

For this statement, Zaluzhny dismissed her on the same day.
