Former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Zaluzhny revealed that 25 years ago a fortune teller predicted a war for him

Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Valeriy Zaluzhny, wrote in his book “My War” that 25 years ago, a fortune teller predicted a major war in which he would be “the main figure.”

As the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recounted, he encountered the woman by chance while traveling by train with fellow cadets to his home in Novohrad-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr region.

“She looked at me too and smiled.
– You have a Roman profile. I hear cries and groans. The wailing of children. Your ancestors fought. Long ago… Warrior blood flows through your veins. You are a warrior… No, you’re not like them. Look at me!

I turned and looked into her deep black eyes. This lasted a few seconds.

– No, – said our soothsayer. – I can’t tell you anything more. No! I’m sorry.

With these words, she clasped her head in her hands, resting her elbows on the table. During this pause, I noticed the curious glances and open mouths of my companions.

– What happened? Why not? – I could no longer contain my curiosity.
– I saw war. A terrible one. Here, in our land. And you—you’re the most important person there,” the book describes.

Recently, former Presidential Office advisor Oleksiy Arestovych claimed that Zaluzhny’s appointment as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was “his project.”
