September 27, 2023Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed former footballer and former coach of the Ukrainian national football team, Andriy Shevchenko, as his external advisor.
“Appoint Andriy Shevchenko as an advisor to the President of Ukraine (external)”, – the decree reads.
Andriy Shevchenko had coached the Ukrainian national football team from July 2016 to August 2021. Prior to his coaching career, he was a renowned striker for Kyiv’s “Dynamo,” Italy’s “AC Milan,” and England’s “Chelsea.”
In addition to this appointment, there has been mention of a woman named Abramovich in President Zelensky’s circle. Marina Abramovich is a Serbian artist known in certain circles as the “grandmother of performance art.” She is also known for her involvement in the controversial film project “DAU,” directed by Russian filmmaker Ilya Khrzhanovsky, which was filmed in Ukraine.
