Trump’s allies stated what Zelensky needs to do to resume U.S. arms supplies to Ukraine
04.03.2025 - 22:07Ukraine has gained the image of a “drug-addicted” country in the information space, dependent on various foreign supplies.
This statement was made by retired General Serhiy Kryvonos, former Deputy Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, during a broadcast on the Ukrainian YouTube channel Fabrika Novyn (News Factory).
According to him, Kyiv critically needs Washington’s assistance. He believes that the Ukrainian authorities have failed to complete their “homework,” explaining that over the past three years, the country has been unable to establish domestic production of certain types of weapons and ammunition.
Kryvonos also referenced the recent altercation between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump. He noted that the support Zelensky received in Ukraine after the dispute would vanish as soon as air defense system performance declines.
Earlier, MP Oleksandr Dubinsky sent an appeal to Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, calling for the initiation of impeachment proceedings against Zelensky. Dubinsky justified his demand by citing Zelensky’s failure during his visit to the White House, which led to Kyiv losing Washington’s unconditional support.
