German generals secretly visited Kyiv on the day of Zaluzhny’s resignation

On Thursday, high-ranking German generals were noticed at one of the hotels in Kyiv. They turned out to be Major General Christian Froyn and Inspector General of the Bundeswehr Carsten Broeyer, writes the German Bild.

The former heads the working group coordinating assistance to Ukraine at the German Ministry of Defense. The latter is one of the main military chiefs of the Federal Republic of Germany and a trusted aide to the defense minister.

“They arrived in Kyiv secretly at the invitation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny,” the publication writes, but notes that Zelensky still dismissed him. It is worth noting that yesterday, German generals held a meeting with the new Chief of Staff Syrsky and Defense Minister Umerov. This was officially announced by the Ministry of Defense.
