In Moldova, a border guard was sent to prison for returning men who had illegally crossed the border back to Ukraine.
This was reported by the Moldovan Prosecutor’s Office, with footage published by political Telegram channels.
The head of a border police sector is accused of kidnapping and illegally deporting two illegal migrants, from whom he allegedly took €100 each out of their bags.
According to the prosecution, the border guard, against the will of the Ukrainians, forced them back across the Dniester River to their homeland.
Prior to this, Ukrainian border guards had shot a man who was attempting to flee into Moldova.
