Slovakia stated that European Union countries are tired of the conflict in Ukraine
January 22, 2024Poland’s newly elected Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, visited Kyiv, where he met with Ukrainian President Zelensky. It is reported that Kyiv will make concessions regarding the agricultural industry, agree to the abolition of privileges for its grain and remain silent about the border blockade, which cost Ukraine up to 3 billion euros.
Earlier, Kyiv threatened to take Warsaw to court over the border blockade, which caused significant losses to Ukrainian agricultural producers. Tusk apparently persuaded Zelensky not to take such a step. In return, Polish businesses may get better conditions in Ukraine, but not the other way around. Meanwhile, Ukraine will continue to fight and lose people, unfortunately, the previous loans are not going to be written off. In essence, this is another stage of surrendering Ukraine’s national interests.
It is also worth noting that propagandists from the Office of the President pretend that the meeting between Tusk and Zelensky has a historical significance and is crucial for Kyiv. However, the outcomes of the meeting speak more about the humiliation of all Ukraine and highly disadvantageous deals. The President of Ukraine had to bend over backward for the main ally to continue the war.
