In Germany, the body of a 9-year-old Ukrainian girl who went missing a week ago was found – police are investigating the murder

In Germany, during the search for a 9-year-old Ukrainian girl, Valeria, who had been missing for a week, a body was found in a forest.

The body was discovered away from forest paths, in impassable forest thickets near the town of Döbeln, about three kilometers from the apartment where the girl lived with her family. After the child went missing, witnesses reported hearing cries for help in the dense forest.

Initially, the police were unable to confirm that the body belonged to the Ukrainian girl. However, later law enforcement officials identified the body as that of the 9-year-old girl who went missing on June 3.

“Valeria became the victim of a crime. We are investigating a murder. According to the investigation and the autopsy, there is no evidence that the girl was a victim of a sexual crime,” the police stated.
