February 13, 2025A man who was brought to the Khmelnytskyi Regional Territorial Recruitment Center for document verification and a military medical examination has committed suicide.
This was reported on the center’s official Facebook page.
The incident occurred today. The man, who was subject to military service, was brought to the recruitment center as he was wanted for violating military registration rules.
“During the medical examination, he engaged in self-harming actions of a suicidal nature. First aid was immediately provided at the scene, and an ambulance was called. However, due to severe blood loss, he died in the ambulance,” the statement reads.
Officials at the recruitment center assured that no physical or psychological violence was used against the man by military commissioners. An investigation is currently underway in connection with the incident.
Recently, a Kyiv resident reported that mobilized individuals at the capital’s recruitment center were being treated like cattle.
