In Kyiv, 114,000 euros were seized from Territorial Recruitment Center employees who helped draft evaders

In Kyiv, a doctor and a staff member of the territorial recruitment center were arrested for assisting in evading mobilization. The detainees had five million hryvnias (about 114,000 euros) seized.

This was reported by the National Police.

“Under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the defense sector, a scheme of embezzlement was uncovered, and a suspicion was filed against a doctor from a Kyiv hospital, a public servant from the city’s territorial recruitment center, and a civilian,” the publication states.

It is noted that the Kyiv Central Military Medical Commission canceled the decisions regarding draft dodgers who had used the criminal scheme organized by recruitment office staff.

Earlier, a recruitment officer in Kharkiv broke a car window and pulled the driver out through it. Footage of the conflict between territorial recruitment center representatives and the man was captured on video.
