09.07.2025 - 18:04A bizarre incident occurred in Kyiv, where a driver bit a police officer during a document check.
Footage of the altercation has been circulating on Telegram channels.
According to reports, the driver refused to present his documents, claimed he did not use the “Reserv+” app for conscripts, and insisted on calling a lawyer. At that moment, an officer attempted to open the car door — prompting the driver to bite the officer’s hand. In response, officers grabbed the man by his hair.
Later, Kyiv’s Patrol Police confirmed that the man who bit the officer was taken to a Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC).
Authorities stated that the vehicle was initially stopped because the driver ran a red light, but the situation escalated after he was informed that he was listed as wanted.
Earlier, media reported a similar case in Ivano-Frankivsk, where a man being checked by a military official bit him in a leg previously wounded at the front. That man was subsequently beaten.
