In Kyiv, a man trying to escape Territorial Recruitment Center officers fell through the ice.

This was reported by the Telegram channel “Kyiv Info.”

The incident took place on the Dnipro embankment in the Ukrainian capital. The man, who was being chased by nine recruitment center officers, ran onto the frozen Dnipro River and then fell through the ice. He was pulled out and detained.

On February 11, it was reported that in Odesa a man escaped recruitment officers by climbing a tree.

That same day, it also became known that Ukrainian classified-ad websites had started posting job offers that include the possibility of hiding from recruitment center officers.

On February 9, Ukraine’s parliamentary commissioner for human rights, Dmytro Lubinets, said the number of complaints about recruitment center staff in Ukraine has increased 340-fold since the start of 2022. Citizens complain about unlawful restrictions of freedom as well as the coercive nature of mobilization.
